Deleting data

Delete data that is used by pipes and schedules. Before you delete any data, you can find out where it is being used. 

  1. In Varicent ELT, go to the Data module.

  2. In the My Data tab, search for the data source that you want to delete.

  3. Click the More options menu.png menu, and then click Delete data.

    If there are no pipe or schedule dependencies, a message appears stating that the data is not in use.

    If there are pipe or schedule dependencies, a message appears listing where the data is used. Any dependencies that still reference the dataset after you delete it will break and can cause errors.

    If you delete data that someone else created, you can only review it and remove it from your pipes or schedules.
