Varicent ELT Assistant

Adding data

  1. In Varicent ELT, go to the Data module from the navigation bar.

  2. On the My Data tab, click Import data.

  3. To upload data from a local source:

    1. Click Choose files or drag and drop your files onto the page.

      Note

      Supported files are CSV, XLS, XLSX.

    2. Review the data. Click Continue.

    3. In the Configure data modal, review your data and column types, select the data to obfuscate (if any), and then click Next.

    4. On the Filter data page, optionally click Filter data to refine your data or click Import data to continue.

    5. Filter the rows in your data by selecting the column to filter, the filter category, and the value or text.

    6. Click Import data.

  4. To connect to a third-party connector, click the Import data tab.

  5. Select a connection, or create a new connection.

    For more information on creating a new import connection, see: Varicent Incentives import.

  6. Select a model to connect to.

  7. From the Directory drop-down menu, select an object to import into Varicent ELT.

    Note

    The options available in the Directory drop-down menu depends on the permissions you have in Varicent Incentives. For more information, see Varicent Incentives permissions.

  8. Click Next.

  9. Configure the data obfuscation as needed, and then click Next.

  10. Review the data source, and then click Import data. You can also rename the data source from this page.

    The imported data source is now available from the Data tab.
