Varicent Incentives import

Important

Currently, this connector is only available to Varicent customer base. For more information, please contact the Varicent Support team.

Connect your Varicent ELT and Incentives accounts to import your data.

Important

Ensure all data is within a date range between 1677-09-2100:12:43.145224193 and 2262-04-11 23:47:16.854775807. Varicent ELT doesn't support dates outside of the date range. If the dates are outside of the date range, you could see the following behaviour:

  • The date range will show the wrong dates if you don't drop or obfuscate columns.

  • The date range will show blank dates if you drop or obfuscate columns.

Importing data

  1. In Varicent ELT, select the Data module from the sidebar navigation pane.

  2. Click Import data.

  3. In the Third party sources section, click Incentives.

  4. Click New connection.

  5. On the Connect to your Model page, under Connector name, enter the name of the connection.

  6. Under API key, enter the Varicent Incentives API Key.

  7. Under Model, enter the model name.

    Note

    The model name is case sensitive.

  8. Under Domain Name, enter the domain name that you use, such as api.cloud.varicent.com, and then click Next.

  9. On the Choose data sets page, select the set of data to include. Click Next.

  10. On the Import data page, review your data and select the data to obfuscate (if any), and select Preserve out of bound dates to maintain any dates outside the date range, and then click Next.

  11. On the Filter data page, optionally click Filter data to refine your data, or click Import data to continue.

    1. Filter the rows in your data by selecting the column to filter, the filter category and the value or text.

    2. Click Import data to continue.

  12. On the Review page, review the data sets that you are importing.

  13. Click Import data.

    The data is available on the My Data page.
