Encryption key

Abstract

Symon.AI provides encryption capabilities for data security protection purposes and provides the capability to decrypt incoming encrypted data through Import, while providing a public key for encryption.

Generating a public key

  1. In Symon.AI, click your username.

  2. Click Org settings.

  3. Click the Encryption key tab.

  4. On the Public key for PGP Encryption page, click Generate key.

  5. On the Generating key window, copy the key to the clipboard.

  6. Click Dismiss.

The PGP Public Key supporting SFTP Import Connector is available on the Encryption key page. Copy, hide or download the key.

Regenerating a public key

  1. In Symon.AI, click your username.

  2. Click Org settings.

  3. Click the Encryption key tab.

  4. On the Public key for PGP Encryption page, click Generate key.

  5. On the Generate new key window, click Generate new key.

    Caution

    Generating a new key terminates the current existing key. This action cannot be reversed.

  6. On the Generating key window, copy the key to the clipboard.

  7. Click Dismiss.

The updated key is available on the Encryption key page. Copy, hide or download the key.
