Microsoft OneDrive export

Abstract

Connect your Symon.AI and Microsoft OneDrive accounts to export your data.

Connect your Symon.AI and Microsoft OneDrive accounts to export your data.

Before you begin

You must have a pre-existing Microsoft account, either business or personal.

When you create a new Microsoft OneDrive connection, you are redirected to sign in to your Microsoft account. If you have multiple Microsoft accounts, enter the credentials for the account containing the Microsoft OneDrive you want to export your files to. You are then prompted to give permission to Symon.AI to write the files in your Microsoft OneDrive. This permission is required so Symon.AI can list available directories, and export the files you select.

Create the connection

Create the connection between Symon.AI and Microsoft OneDrive. Generate a new connection or use an existing one.

Creating a new connection
  1. In Symon.AI, go to your pipe.

  2. Add the Export tool.

  3. In the Export tool configuration section, click the Connection drop-down menu.

  4. From the Connection drop-down, click + New connection.

  5. Create the new Microsoft OneDrive connection for the Export tool.

    1. In the File name field, enter the file name.

    2. In the Export type field, choose either the CSV or Excel file type.

      Note

Due to a restriction, you cannot export to the Root and Shared with me folders.

Any sub-folders within the Shared with me folder is available for export.

    3. In the Export destination field, choose the directory that you want to export your files to.

    4. Click Export now, or Schedule.

The export is created and you will see the export in the Export log.

Using your existing connection
