PostgreSQL import
Connect your Varicent ELT and PostgreSQL accounts to import your data.
In Varicent ELT, select the Data module from the sidebar navigation pane.
Click Import data.
In the Third party sources section, click PostgreSQL.
Click New connection.
On the Connect to your Database page, under the Connector name, enter the name of the connection.
Under Host, enter the host URL.
Under Port, enter the port number.
Under Database, enter the PostgreSQL database name.
Under Username, enter the PostgreSQL user name.
Under Password, enter the PostgreSQL password, and then click Next.
On the Choose data sets page, select the data sets that you want to include. Click Next.
On the Import data page, review your data and select the data to obfuscate (if any), and select Preserve out of bound dates to maintain any dates outside the date range, and then click Next.
On the Filter data page, optionally click Filter data to refine your data, or click Import data to continue.
Filter the rows in your data by selecting the column to filter, the filter category and the value or text.
Click Import data to continue.

On the Review page, review the data sets that you want to import.
Click Import data.
The data is available on the My Data page.
