Importing from Incentives

Abstract

Add another data source when you have a connection to Incentives and Symon.AI.

If you've already set up a connection to Incentives, you can add Incentives as another data source.

  1. From the Data tab, click Import data.

  2. In the Connectors section, select Incentives.

  3. Select a connection, or create a new connection.

For more information on creating a new import connection, see: Incentives.

  4. Select a model to connect to.

  5. From the Directory drop-down menu, select an object to import into Symon.AI.

  6. Click Next.

  7. Configure the data obfuscation as needed.

  8. Click Next.

  9. Review the data source. You can also rename the data source from this page.

  10. Click Import data.

The imported data source is now available from the Data tab.

If you haven't already set up a connection to Incentives, you must do that before you can add a data source.

In Symon.AI, you can add Incentives as a connector for imports and exports. You can use this connection to import data from Incentives objects like tables, calculations, and data stores. You can also export your Symon.AI results to a new table in Incentives or update an existing one.

Note

Ensure all data is within a date range between 1677-09-21 00:12:43.145224193 and 2262-04-11 23:47:16.854775807. Symon.AI doesn't support dates outside of the date range. If the dates are outside of the date range, you could see the following behaviour:

  • The date range will show the wrong dates if you don't drop or obfuscate columns.

  • The date range will show blank dates if you drop or obfuscate columns.

  1. From the Data tab, click Import data.

  2. Select Incentives as a third party source.

  3. Click + New connection.

  4. Enter your API key.

    Tip

To get your API key, go to your Symon.AI username, click User options, and then click Generate API key or Rotate API key.

  5. Enter your model name.

  6. Select your admin client Domain Name.

  7. Click Next.

  8. From the Directory drop-down menu, select an object to import into Symon.AI.

  9. Click Next.

  10. Review the data source. You can also rename the data source from this page.

  11. Click Import data.

The imported data source is now available from the Data tab.
