Release notes 3.82.0
3.82.0 - Week of November 10, 2025
It's brand new and it's all for you
And we think you’ll love it.
Create your own reusable tool logic
We're so excited! We've created a way for you to create your own tool logic, which you can reuse repeatedly from existing tools. Reusable tool logic is helpful when you want to reuse a specific configuration of tools.
For example, let's say you have a set of tools that you require in more than one pipe. Before reusable logic, you must recreate the tools in each pipe. Now, you can create the logic once, save it, and reuse it as many times as you like. Read Reusable tool logic to learn more.
Loved it before? Wait until you see it now.
We took the time to revamp some of the things you already love.
Migrating reusable tools made seamless
Here we go again! We've added the ability to migrate any reusable logic tools from one organization to another. With reusable logic tools, you can create a reusable tool from existing tools, define the data sources and configuration values for each tool, and group them together to reuse as needed. You can create a custom reusable tool in one organization and share it with another. Read Migrating reusable tools to learn more.
New default for the Join tool
Previously, the Join tool automatically defaulted to using the Left join. Now, we have changed it so that it defaults to the Inner join. We found that users prefer the Inner join, so we decided to make it the default. Read the Join tool documentation to learn more.
Automatic tool node colours
We've been busy! Pipes now automatically assign a default colour to a tool based on its tool section when you add it to the canvas.
For example, if you add a tool from the Calculate section, it is red. If you add a tool from the Clean section, it is purple. No more manually assigning colours to each tool node. Don't like the colour? No problem! You can still customize the colour of the tool node to one that you prefer.
Goodbye, Advanced section of the Formula tool
We've removed the Advanced section in the Formula tool that contained the Output column field. Now, we've moved the Output column with the rest of the options without hiding it in the Advanced section. Read the Formula documentation to learn more.
We crushed some bugs!
And we're so happy that we did...
