Release notes for the Symon.AI 3.35.0 release.

We made something for you…

And we think you'll love it.

New Monte Carlo tool

We've been busy! We've made a Monte Carlo tool to add to our tool library. The Monte Carlo tool simulates possible outcomes from a random sampling of your data to predict a probability of outcome. Input your own data source or scenario, run the simulations, and you'll get a clearer understanding of the probabilities, risk assessments, and forecasts. Learn more...

The Monte Carlo tool is only available to users on Varicent AI plans.

Loved it before? Wait until you see it now.

We took the time to revamp some of the things you already love.

New look for the Join tool

We've done it again! We've updated the Join tool by adding a summary to the Row viewer. You can see the join results breakdown and the tool now offers suggestions to help you merge your data, and get the data that you want.

You can come across the following suggestions:

  • Choose alternative or unique columns: This suggestion shows an overlay over the configuration, showing you what you could change to the selected join columns.

  • Duplicate rows: This suggestion adds the Unique tool between one or both of the incoming data sources if they have duplicate rows. One or both incoming data sources must have duplicate rows.

  • Clean tools: This suggestion shows you tools to clean the columns in the join conditions if the join results are blank.

  • Learn more: This suggestion takes you to the Join tool documentation.

Updated merge wizard flow

We've been busy! We've updated the merge wizard for new users. You can now add more than two data sources in the Append rows (Union) operation.

We had the bug zapper out...

and boy did we get rid of a bunch:

Bug number

Resolved an issue where data sources were disappearing in the pipe.

Fixed an issue where users were unable to import a single value file as a fixed-width import.

Addressed an issue where Symon.AI converts “Date” columns to “Text” columns, even though it shows as “Date” in the Import steps.
