Symon.AI Release 3.15.0

Abstract

Release notes for the Symon.AI 3.15.0 release.

We made something for you...

and we think you're going to like it!

Here comes the Period mapper tool

Introducing the Period mapper tool! Split your data to aggregate it for analytic purposes by mapping a date column in your data set into a calendar period. You can find the tool in the new Sales Performance section in the Command modal.

Note

The Period mapper tool is only available to users on Varicent ELT and Varicent AI plans.

New tool autofill feature

Easily configure your tools with one easy step, using the autofill configuration. Simply click Show example in the Configure the fields message and the tool configures the required fields for you.

This feature is currently only available for the following tools:

  • Aggregate

  • Filter

  • Predictor

  • Classifier

  • Regressor

  • Formula

  • Forecast

If there is no available data from the data set, the tool shows you what data or columns that your data set needs so you can configure the tool properly. How easy is that?

Loved it before? Wait until you see it now.

We took the time to revamp some of the things that you love.

Enhancement for the Combination Matcher tool

We've made an enhancement to the Combination Matcher tool. We've added new match types so you can choose the data you want to match. You can choose from the following new match types: Exact match, Contains or Is Contained In.

Updated how to delete in a pipe

We've been busy and updated how you can use the backspace and delete keys in the pipe. You can no longer use the backspace or delete keys to remove a tool in the pipe. To delete a tool, you must use the Delete button on the tool menu.

Improved REST API import instructions

We've been busy and updated the REST API connector import instructions in case of a connection failure.

New Connector documentation section

With all of the import and export connectors that we have, it made sense to move them to their own section! We now have a new Connectors tile on the Knowledge Base homepage. Isn't that awesome?
